New Zealand Berryfruit Propagators Ltd was established in 1978 as a joint company between the Berryfruit Growers Federation and Dalgety's (NZ) Ltd.

1988

Turners and Growers Ltd buys shares.

Early
2000's

Ownership changes—Dalgety's exits, Turners and Growers sells shares (2002), Berryfruit Growers Federation transfers shares to SGNZ (2003).

2020

SGNZ sells shares back to NZBP, distributing them to eligible plant purchasers.

2021

Company has 18 shareholders.

Through our High Health Strawberry Runner Plant Scheme, we maintain rigorous quality standards. This scheme covers both foundation stock and nursery runner production, ensuring healthy, high-performing plants.
